Psychologist Services & Fees

Initial Evaluation (CPT code 90791): $350 - $560 (70 minutes - 120 minutes)

Individual Therapy:

60-Minute Individual Therapy Follow-Up Session (CPT code 90837): $280

45-Minute Individual Therapy Follow-Up Session (CPT code 90834): $210

30-Minute Follow-Up Session (CPT code 90832): $140

Family Therapy:

60-Minute Family Therapy w/out Patient (CPT code 90846): $280

45-Minute Family Therapy w/out Patient (CPT code 90846): $210

60-Minute Family Therapy with Patient (CPT code 90847): $280

45-Minute Family Therapy with Patient (CPT code 90847): $210

Additional Therapy Services

Psychotherapy for Crisis (60 minutes; CPT code 90839): $280

Each Additional 30 Minutes for Crisis (CPT code 90840): + $140

Hospital Consultation: Price based on location and length of visit

Reports

Reports Requiring <15 minutes: No charge

Reports Requiring >15 minutes: Prorated at $70/quarter hour

For example, a treatment summary, recommendation report for academic accommodations, or a 504 Plan will typically take 30 minutes to complete. NOVA PS will charge $140 for the report.

Doctoral Extern Services & Fees

Doctoral externs are students currently enrolled in doctoral psychology programs who practice under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Initial Evaluation (CPT code 90791): $250

60-Minute Follow-Up or Family Session (CPT code 90837): $200

45-Minute Follow-Up or Family Session (CPT code 90834): $150

30-Minute Follow-Up Session (CPT code 90832): $100

Prorated Hourly Rate: $70/quarter hour (applied to additional therapy services, other professional services, and reports.

Other Professional Services

Including, but not limited to telephone consultations with patient/parent, telephone consultations with other professionals, school observations/consultations, preparation of records, completing forms and writing letters on behalf of patients, etc.

Prorated Hourly Rate: $70/quarter hour
15 Minutes or Less: No charge

Rates remain the same for in-person, telehealth, and phone sessions

Fees are subject to change every two years. You will be given at least 30 days notice before the rates change.

Payment is required at the time of service. Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted.

Please let your provider know if you have any financial concerns. NOVA PS will try its best to work with your finances and suggest services accordingly. If for some reason NOVA PS cannot accommodate you, your provider will do their very best to help you find the right services.
